Hi, I’m Clay Smith — owner of Superior Fence & Rail of Utah. I grew up in this state, and I’ve been building fences in Utah since 2008.

Why I Started Superior Fence & Rail of Utah

After years of working for other companies, I realized something: most fence companies just wanted to get the job done and move on. They didn’t really care about the homeowners or the quality of work. That’s not how I operate.

I started Superior Fence & Rail of Utah because I believe Utahns deserve better. I wanted to build a company where honest work, fair prices, and actual communication are the norm — not the exception. When you call me, you get me. Not a salesperson. Not a call center. Me.

What We Do

We install residential and commercial fences throughout Utah — wood, chain link, vinyl, steel, you name it. But more importantly, we listen to what you need. Every property is different, every family has different priorities. Maybe you need privacy. Maybe you’ve got kids or pets. Maybe you just want your yard to look nice. We get it.

I’ll walk through your property with you, explain your options, and never pressure you into something you don’t need. That’s just not how I do business.
