Utah Fencing operates under Bear Creek Fencing & Backyard. We are fully licensed, bonded and insured. We use the name “Utah Fencing” to market our fence products and services across Salt Lake, Davis and Utah Counties.
If your land is directly joined to anybody else’s, you will have to contact your neighbors about a fence being installed. If you are going to share a fence, you are going to need to ensure that they are happy with the adjustments you are going to make – after all, half of the fence will be facing into their yard! You will also need to notify them of when the fence is being installed – they may need to ensure that they do not let their pets out until the fence is fully set up, to prevent them from escaping or getting in harm’s way.
There are rules and regulations regarding where you can have a fence fitted, as well as how tall this fence can be, and whether your fence has to adhere to a particular style. Different rules and regulations apply to different areas, so you need to contact your local municipality or homeowners association (HOA) to determine what you can and can’t do in regards to fencing.
Unfortunately, we cannot locate your property line on your behalf. You will need to take a look at the paperwork for your home, or consult your neighbor, and come to a conclusion of where your property line lies. If you find that you and your neighbor cannot come to an agreement in regards to property lines, you will need to contact a surveyor to get an official answer.
Of course! We won’t fit a fence without knowing where the utilities lie in relation to your property. You will need to inform us if you have personally installed underground utilities in your home or yard though, as these may not be marked on official records. Examples of personally installed underground utilities could include sprinkler systems or underground wiring that leads to your shed.
Our fences do come with a warranty! We offer a warranty on the fences themselves, as well as warranties regarding our work and installation. Feel free to get in touch to find out the exact warranty on the type of fencing or installation you’re interested in.
We are proud to offer a wide variety of different fences. Whatever type of fence you are looking for, chances are that we can provide it. We specialize in standard fencing, iron fencing, and chain-mail fencing and can offer some of the best options on the market. You can learn more about the different types of fencing we provide when browsing our online catalog.
The care you need to provide your fence with will be entirely dependent on the type of fencing that you choose. But not to worry. Our professionals will be able to provide you with all of the care information you require once they have fitted your fence.
